DIOR HAUTE COUTURE 2013: EFFORTLESSLY CHIC

Laid-back, easygoing and with an avowed passion for defined tailoring, Dior stepped into the spotlight with a potpourri of coral, fiery red and ethereal beige and grey.
What happens when old meets new? When memories of the past collide with visions of the future, well, welcome to an explosive nostalgia meets hysteria at the Museum of Dior Memories.

It started with a well trimmed garden, far away from the classic Dior vintage furniture sets complete with gigantic chandeliers and expansive mirrors. The Dior garden complemented the refreshing “back-to-tailoring dresses”.
Raf Simons created new beginnings, charming clothes that focused on feminine side of Dior, we are so loving.
It was the perfect finishing touch – something that shows his breaking away from the glitz of the past, seamlessly setting up the  stunning and appropriate collection in a very calm way. From his patternless beadworks to sporadic flower appliqués and sharp cutting techniques, the Haute Couture 2013 of Dior hits the very essence of a woman, contemporary without the necessary whimsical factors. Chic.
