Joumana Al Hayek, the creative
force behind the Dubai-based haute couture fashion house, Dar Sara, is poised to
bring her stunning collection of bridal gowns made with Swarovski crystals to
Trau Dich 2014. The collection draws its
inspiration from the imperial portraits of Empress Elizabeth of Austria, and is
imbued with all her fabled elegance and personal sense of style. Ten amazing
creations conforming to Sisi’s slim-waisted silhouette will be on display at
this international wedding trade show, which is the largest of its kind held in
Austria.
Already a darling of international
pop divas such as Britney Spears, Joumana Al Hayek’s creative talent marries
passion and dynamism with a calm and clear-headed focus that has seen Dar Sara become one of
the top fashion houses in the United Arab Emirates. When designing she
envisions the princess in every woman and crystals from Swarovski are part of this process, for her, they add glamour to any piece and are the creative material what
defines the difference between an everyday design and a masterpiece.
Al Hayek
considers her breathtaking Cultural Abaya made
with Swarovski crystals depicting the shimmering beauty of the desert as one of
her greatest achievements. It is now on
display in the Museum of Dubai.
Dar Sara uses only exclusive
materials from France and Italy to produce Al Hayek’s visionary bridal
creations. Her classic princess cut, mermaid cut and dreamy bouffant gowns are
a decadent mixture of frothy organza, illusion tulle, delicate French dentelle,
faille satin and silk jacquard embellished with an exquisite blend of hand
beading and Swarovski Crystal Embroideries.
Each spectacular gown is a custom
made creation befitting the legendary Empress herself. All can be seen and admired on the glittering
runway at Trau Dich 2014.
