Reem Al Kanhal Fashion Forward 2: The CZARINA of Pret-a Porter Chic

What do you do when you see beauty in a seemingly simple and clean aesthetic? is it too austere for your standard?

A style that has become the essential part of the minimalist side of Reem Al Kanhal, a Saudi based fashion creator, who wasn't there at the FFWD2 just to become another fashion designer.

She came with a wind of change.

She was armed with the correct attitude and single handedly brought minimalism where a dress with excess embellishments  is a way of life.A collection that was more real, contemporary....and believable.

Veered into a niche market of clients who are more design, detail and embellish sensitive, her garments are the alternate and do not conform to set rules and trends.....the ensemble are for those who are willing to experiment.

Reem al Kanhal's debut at Fashion Forward Season 2 has taken the opportunity to redefine her own oeuvre. Working with poplin, organza, taffeta and linen, she is comfortable with organic fabrics that seems to hang and float weightlessly.

Her asymmetrical lines made strong gestural statements and resonates linear simplicity thus poise to explode within an expansive spaces of serenity.
Her uncluttered neo-minimalist fare and crisp old-school tailoring here, made those sartorial sensibilities on acid tests.

‘Graphic’ is a polite term sometimes, the colours of white and pistachio green and teaming-ups with huge bow in unusual places and   more towards  assaulting.

And if you still think that head to toe ‘art’ is so minimal on your fashion barometer, then throw on some fox, mink and sable to ‘lift’ the look.
