Dubai-based Syrian-born couturier, Rami Al Ali,
unveiled his Autumn/Winter 2013/14 collection yesterday during Paris Couture
Fashion Week, marking his fourth showing in the French capital.
Held at Le Meurice and attended by an elite
crowd of both international and Middle Eastern press - including Vogue
International Editor at Large, Hamish Bowles - the four-hour
presentation showcased Al Ali's latest work, which was inspired by the revolutionary
style of Gustav Klimt.
The
presentation follows on from a very successful season, where Al Ali has seen
his designs grace many a celebrity, including Beyoncé, Kelly Rowland and Kerry
Washington, alongside top models Chanel Iman, Petra Nemcová and Ariadne
Artiles.
Rami Al Ali was also thrilled to be joined
backstage by legendary photographer, Sante D'Orazio - famed for his work with
many of the world's most recognised - and beautiful - celebrities. D'Orazio's
portfolio features an outstanding calibre of A-list movie stars, rock stars and
a whole host of supermodels spanning the last few decades. His work is
distinguished by his talent for capturing world-renowned faces in raw and
intimate moments.
